The North American League continues with its 16th edition on the weekend of February 18-19th. This time on a new venue for the NA League, but an old timer for Underwater Rugby in the USA. The East Haven Makos from East Haven Connecticut are the hosting their first NAL event, but for many years they have participated in different ways as one of the most collaborative clubs in the US since their location is almost midway between other two centers for UW Rugby in the US, Boston and New Jersey.

The 16th NA League tournament is also the second round for the 2016/17 NAL Season which is being lead by the NUWR team from Newark NJ with 4 points, following by The Boston Narwhals with 3, and the Florida Krakens with 2.

This edition will have the participation of eight teams (7 clubs) and the USA ladies team that is staring their preparation for the following WC in 2019. participating Clubs are:

• New Jersey Hammerheads (NJ-USA)
• CAMO (QC-Canada)
• East Haven Makos (CT-USA)
